This notice explains how BATI NAKLİYAT VE TİCARET ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (the "Company") processes personal data collected through this website. It is prepared under Article 10 of Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK").

2. Personal data we process
- Contact and quotation forms: name, company, e-mail address, telephone number, the content of your message, and the cargo, route and date details you share for a shipment.
- Job applications: the identity, contact, education and professional experience data contained in your CV.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, pages visited and visit times recorded in server logs, and data obtained through cookies.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
- Responding to your enquiries and quotation requests — directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (KVKK art. 5/2-c).
- Assessing job applications — your explicit consent (KVKK art. 5/1).
- Keeping the site secure, resolving technical faults and meeting legal obligations — legal obligation and legitimate interest (KVKK art. 5/2-ç and 5/2-f).
- Measuring visit statistics — your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time through the cookie preferences.
4. Transfers
Your data may be shared with group companies, transport and customs partners involved in delivering the service, and with suppliers providing hosting, e-mail and analytics services, as well as with public authorities where required by law. If you accept analytics cookies, the related data may be processed on servers of providers located abroad; such transfer relies on your explicit consent under KVKK art. 9.
5. Retention
Form records are kept for the limitation periods set out in the applicable legislation after your request is concluded; job applications for no longer than two years; server logs for no longer than twelve months. At the end of these periods the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information where it is, to learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used accordingly, to know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Turkey or abroad, to request rectification of incomplete or inaccurate data, to request erasure or destruction, to request that such action be notified to the recipients, to object to a result arising against you from analysis carried out solely by automated means, and to claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.
7. How to apply
You may send your requests in writing to the address above or by e-mail to [email protected], in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. We respond within thirty days at the latest.
8. Changes
This notice may be updated to reflect changes in legislation or in our processes. The current version is always published on this page.
